Autobody Repair
Job Title: Autobody Repair
Location: Different locations in Montreal
Job Type: Full time – 40hrs/week (nights and weekends as needed)
You like to repair damaged parts and see the end result, the job is for you
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate damage reports, cost and parts estimates, and plan work to be carried out (report supplements or previous damage as required).
Check parts to be replaced at the start of repairs. (Right side, right model, right color, if damaged).
Check that parts are on the right side, model and color.
Dismantle and install damaged or replacement parts using specialized tools (bolted, stapled, riveted, glued or welded)
Repair dents, creases, scratches and other damage using specialized tools
Sand body surfaces to be repaired using hand, air and power tools
Apply and sand putty or glue in preparation for priming
Straighten damaged monocoque structures using traction and anchoring equipment
Cut and replace fixed body panels (side panels, roof and rear skirts, etc.)
Master gas-shielded welding (MIG/MAG and resistance welding) In-house training available
Validate the proper functioning of dismantled, replaced or repaired components (Quality Control)
Comply with manufacturers standards (Manufacturers, repair equipment and products) to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims
Assist other departments as needed (Maintenance of work bays, ergonomics, housekeeping, preventive maintenance).
Requirements:
Experience as a body shop or in a similar role
You have or are in the process of obtaining a DEP in bodywork or equivalent
You respect all OHS rules and the property of others
You like to work both independently and as part of a team, and you enjoy helping others.
You have a valid driver's license
You have a good knowledge of the automotive industry
You are able to work under pressure.

Title: CMM inspector
Location: Montreal – Full Time
Duties and responsibilities:
Create programs and all necessary documentation for the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
Operate coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
Perform inspection during the manufacturing and/or assembly process
Check dimensional and form tolerances on machined parts and suggest necessary adjustments to machinists
Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports
Inspect parts ready for delivery, according to production priorities
Carry out the necessary checks (dimensional, geometric, physical, etc.) (on the floor or in the quality department) to demonstrate product compliance with customer specifications
Prepare and complete First Part Inspection (FAI) reports.
Coordinate, with the people in charge, the shipment of parts and required documentation, while respecting delivery deadlines
Validate machine tool accuracy (when required)
Calibrate measuring instruments (if required)
Provide technical support in metrology to machinists during production.
As the case may be, analyze, as a team, product return reports from customers
Skills:
· Essential - DEP in machining techniques and ASP in numerical control
· Asset - DEC in mechanical or industrial engineering
· Minimum 5 years' experience operating and programming the CMM in a similar position
· Experience in manufacturing, mechanical and electrical assembly of aeronautical parts

Work as part of a team with the technical group and engineering to develop new parts or improve existing ones;
Read and interpret technical plans and drawings;
Validate and/or determine part assembly (choice of flanges, mandrel, etc.);
Select and assemble the tooling required according to the particularities of each part;
Carry out safe assembly of the part;
Analyze and read different types of programming: G codes, M codes, Mazatrol, etc.
Transfer programs to the machine tool controller;
Optimize cutting parameters and adjust off-set if necessary.
Carry out required tests and manufacture FAI parts according to customer requirements and specifications, and complete documentation to make any necessary adjustments to produce parts that meet customer needs.
Machine the initial part and check dimensions using the appropriate measuring instruments, and make the necessary adjustments to produce quality parts.
